A Particular Reality: Collaboration

We recently attended the launch and reflection event for Shifting the Margins at Goldsmiths CCA, marking the culmination of a rich and collaborative research process.

Working alongside A Particular Reality on this project has been an invaluable opportunity to research, reflect, and learn together. Shifting the Margins brings together critical perspectives developed through collaboration, and it was a pleasure to see this work take shape both as a project and a publication. Moments like these offer a chance to pause and reflect on the importance of making space for research that centres care and collaboration.

We want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to Ali Eisa, Michelle Williams Gamaker, and A Particular Reality for their generosity, support, and mentorship. Negotiating Bodies exists because they believed in a very early, nascent idea and helped us develop it into the collective it is today. They trusted the knowledge we brought to the table, created space for us to learn and experiment, and supported us throughout the process with care and generosity.

We are deeply thankful for that belief and guidance. We hope we have made you proud, and we look forward to continuing this work together.
